Ingredients

  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 6 figs
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 0.25 cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp peppers
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Slice the fresh figs into quarters.
  3. 3In a small bowl, mix walnuts with chopped thyme, rosemary, a pinch of sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. 5Arrange the fig slices and walnut mixture around and on top of the Brie.
  6. 6Drizzle the Brie and figs with extra virgin olive oil.
  7. 7Bake in the preheated oven until the Brie is melted and gooey, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. 8Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with raw honey.
  9. 9Garnish with additional fresh thyme and rosemary.
  10. 10Serve warm with slices of whole grain baguette or crackers.
