Ingredients

  • 1 package wheat phyllo dough
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 100 g ricotta cheese
  • 1 large eggs
  • 100 g spinach
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • 2 stalks spring onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly oil a baking sheet.
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, combine the feta, ricotta, egg, finely chopped spinach, dill, chopped spring onions, yogurt, and nutmeg. Stir until well mixed.
  3. 3Unroll the phyllo dough and cover with a damp cloth to keep from drying out.
  4. 4Take one sheet of phyllo dough, brush lightly with olive oil, and place another sheet on top. Cut into strips about 3 inches wide.
  5. 5Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the end of each strip.
  6. 6Fold the phyllo dough over the filling to form a triangle, continuing to fold in a triangle shape until the strip is fully used.
  7. 7Place the triangles on the prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  8. 8Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
  9. 9Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly on a wire rack.
  10. 10Serve warm or at room temperature.
