Ingredients

  • 200 g shrimp
  • 100 g oysters
  • 200 g octopus
  • 200 g fish
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 cup clam juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 0.5 whole red onion
  • 1 whole jalapeno
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the seafood: Clean and devein shrimp, shuck oysters, slice octopus, and cube white fish.
  2. 2In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Blanch shrimp, octopus, and fish separately until just cooked. Plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
  3. 3Combine tomato juice, clam juice, and lime juice in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4Dice the avocado, chop cilantro, finely chop red onion, and slice jalapeno.
  5. 5Add the cooked seafood, diced avocado, chopped cilantro, chopped onion, and jalapeno slices to the tomato-clam juice mixture.
  6. 6Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and gently mix to combine.
  7. 7Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.
  8. 8Serve cold, garnished with additional cilantro and lime wedges.
