A heart-healthy Mediterranean twist on the classic Mexican seafood cocktail, featuring a bounty of seafood, fresh vegetables, and a zesty tomato base.

Ingredients
- 200 g shrimp
- 100 g oysters
- 200 g octopus
- 200 g fish
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1 cup clam juice
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 whole avocado
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 0.5 whole red onion
- 1 whole jalapeno
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1Prepare the seafood: Clean and devein shrimp, shuck oysters, slice octopus, and cube white fish.
- 2In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Blanch shrimp, octopus, and fish separately until just cooked. Plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
- 3Combine tomato juice, clam juice, and lime juice in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4Dice the avocado, chop cilantro, finely chop red onion, and slice jalapeno.
- 5Add the cooked seafood, diced avocado, chopped cilantro, chopped onion, and jalapeno slices to the tomato-clam juice mixture.
- 6Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and gently mix to combine.
- 7Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.
- 8Serve cold, garnished with additional cilantro and lime wedges.
